The Philosophers' Yard invites you to our next dynamic Meetup, where we’ll explore the complexities of Capitalism.

In this session, we’ll discuss key ideas and theories behind capitalism, a system that has influenced globalisation, innovation, and wealth distribution. We’ll examine how societies balance economic freedom with ethical responsibility, weigh the benefits of capitalism, and consider the risks of applying economic models across more areas of life.

This meetup is a follow-up to the event on capitalism on 13th February and will provide a further opportunity to discuss this wide-ranging topic.

The event will feature a talk from Dan Stone, founder of The Philosophers' Yard and a graduate in Economics and Management. With experience as a programme manager in government, Dan has worked on projects focused on growth and community empowerment.

Join us on Thursday, 20th February at Exhale Conscious Bar, a new alcohol-free venue in Birmingham city centre, designed to promote well-being and meaningful connections.
