The first session in our two-part love series included a talk from Dr Natasha McKeever about the philosophy of Monogamy, what it is and how we can make sense of it. Dr Natasha McKeever is a Lecturer in Applied Ethics at the IDEA Centre in the University of Leeds.
It also featured a talk from Dharmashalin on the nature of Love, or “Metta”, within Buddhism. For the last twenty years, Dharmashalin has lived and worked within the Triranta Buddhist Community, and for the past ten years has been a teacher at Birmingham Buddhist Centre.
