Individualism and Collectivism 3: The Individualism Conversation

  • The Exchange 3 Centenary Square Birmingham, England, B1 2DR United Kingdom (map)

Following our session focusing on collectivism, we turned our attention to individualism. A talk from Mac Alonge explored the work they do at The Equal Group. The Equal Group works to identify and eliminate bias from the workplace, using data, and technology and supported by advanced strategic consulting. This perspective emphasises the needs of individuals within the collective and the way that that individually by be harmed by the nature of the collective.

As always, we explored these topics during group discussion. In The Study, we engaged in a debate between the two perspectives.

The event also started and ended with spoken word from Diary of a Poet.
