A week before the 2024 general election, an expert panel met to explore the promise and the limitations of our democratic system. The panel included Jeremy Williams from the University of Birmingham, Dr Patricia Correa from Aston University, Ridica Alam from Young Combined Authority, and Siobhan Harper-Nunes of the Green Party. The event began and ended with a live spoken word performance from Bilal Akram.
